Roman section of the Via Francigena, between the Municipality of Formello and Isola Farnese
Along the 13 km itinerary, you cross the archaeological area of Veio which today represents the gateway to the city, as Isola Farnese is the first administrative center of competence of Rome Capital that a pilgrim, coming from the north, encounters. We will visit the charming village of Formello and Isola Farnese, the Archaeological Area of Portonaccio in Veio (only on weekends and at the end of the red zone due to swine fever), Ponte Sodo and Campetti ruins
