The green hilly countryside which makes up the “Agro Romano” and the charm of its 16th-century architecture make Castellina de Miremont the ideal place to spend a few hours surrounded by history and nature.
In an enchanting landscape setting stands this Renaissance country villa, once the hunting lodge of the Savelli and Borgia families, consisting of three floors and whose rooms still contain period furniture and furnishings. The building also has a splendid inner courtyard and a loggia, as well as a surrounding garden with centuries-old trees, rose plants and a swimming pool. Still inhabited by its owners, the villa has hosted illustrious historical and contemporary figures, from nobles and pontiffs to film stars, and is today open by appointment for guided tours and used for events and banquets.
