Day 1 - FIANO ROMANO Our tour starts from Fiano Romano, a town rich in history and culture a few kilometers from Rome, where we will make a free visit From the archaeological sites to the churches, among the shops in the center and a tour of the Orsini Castle, entering the center through the Porta Capena , take Via Roma and arrive in Piazza Giacomo Matteotti where the Church of Santo Stefano Nuovo is located and, opposite, the Orsini Castle. A few kilometers from the centre, on the Via Tiberina, is the important archaeological site of Lucus Feroniae, the most important of the many in which the cult of Feronia was practiced. We suggest you have lunch in a typical restaurant of the local tradition. Departure for HU I pini Village and accommodation in a mobile home. Free time available. Free dinner. Overnight Distances: Fiano Romano – Hu i pini Village 3 km/5 min Day 2 - MORLUPO/ RIGNANO FLAMINIO Today we will go to the discovery of Morlupo, where we will do a photographic bike tour of a historical naturalistic nature for fans of cycling and photography. During the journey there are photographic stops with brief advice on the most suggestive places to immortalize. Small notions and advice on off-road bike riding will be given. Duration: Variable according to requests (max. 5 hours) Departure for Rignano Flaminio and lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon accompanied by passionate experts and connoisseurs of the place. we will visit the village, rich in nature, history, art and traditions. The itinerary will take place in the historic city centre, stopping at the main churches of the village - the Church of Saints Vincenzo and Anastasio and the church of Santa Maria della Pietà - and at the inside the Palazzo Comunale, visiting the Council Chamber and the Chapel of the Crucifix. The experience includes the Museum of Culture and City Traditions to continue, outside the center, up to the church of Saints Abbondio and Abbondanzio, to conclude in a green natural landscape. Return to the village Free dinner Overnight Distances: Day 3 – FORMELLO On this day we will visit the territory of Formello: A beautiful and easy excursion on foot, with a ring route, to discover the history and nature of Formello and its territory. Accompanied by an official guide, you start from the 'La Selvotta' Nature Park and arrive at the Tomba Campana, not always open but nonetheless of great charm, to then reach the beautiful Cascata degli Olmetti where you can have a packed lunch, included in the fee . The activity, lasting a total of 4 hours, takes place only on Saturdays and Sundays and also includes admission and all the services of the 'La Selvotta' Nature Park. After the excursion, we will go to taste the local delicacies in a typical restaurant In the afternoon, we will visit the engraving center of the town, where we will be shown the engraving techniques, the working tools and the different graphic expression languages, and the Museo Agro Veientano, which illustrates the use and consumption of wine among the Etruscans. Return to the village Dinner Overnight Distances: Hu the Pines Village Day 4 - ROME On this last day of the tour we will stop in the heart of the capital for a beautiful boat tour on the Tiber: a unique way to discover the wonders of Rome from the water. The navigation experience offers unusual views of the city and allows you to admire the main monuments and historic bridges, surrounded by the magical atmosphere of the river. The itinerary lasts an hour and takes place between the Tiber Island and Ponte Pietro Nenni, accompanied by a multilingual audio guide to deepen the knowledge of the history of Rome. Free lunch in a typical Roman trattoria. In the afternoon, we recommend a visit to the Jewish ghetto, a journey through Jewish history and tradition between art and gastronomy. Overlooking the left bank of the Tiber, and connected to the Tiber Island by Ponte Fabricio, the Jewish quarter is recognized by the presence of the eclectic building of the Synagogue. An unusual example of Art Nouveau style, the Tempio Maggiore was rebuilt in the early twentieth century after the district underwent major transformations due to the construction of the Muraglioni. Even today, however, the area is extremely characteristic with many kosher restaurants, shops and small shops. It is worth visiting the Jewish Museum which tells the bi-millenary story of the Roman Jewish community and allows you to enter the Great Temple, with magnificent artistic stained glass windows and the more intimate Spanish Temple.
